I’m delighted to announce that RL James General Contractor will be hosting the PROJECT VetRelief Golf Tournament again this year. It is always my honor to invite my fellow colleagues, construction vendors, close friends, and neighbors to this special event!
This will be the 11th year that RL James has been able to host this patriotic event. As I reflect on the success of the previous years, I’m overwhelmed with emotions just thinking how much it has grown. However, it is the impact it has had on the veteran community that keeps me motivated to do more and more each year.
Over the last 10 years, this event has provided nearly $600,000 to PROJECT VetRelief, an organization that is near and dear to my heart! It may be witnessing how this funding truly helps Florida’s veterans or my competitive nature, but I know that we can do more.
It is still my goal to raise $100,000 during one single tournament, and I believe we can get there this year – I just know it! However, I’m going to need your help.
This year, we are putting an emphasis on our sponsorship levels to help us reach our fundraising goal. We know that many folks eagerly await to learn of the details of our next event, which often results in our tournament selling out very quickly. In order to help reach our goal, there will be a limited number of foursomes, but there are a couple of NEW sponsorship opportunities available.
If you have not attended one of our events in the past, you will quickly see that I like to put FUN in fundraising and proudly display my patriotism! You just never know what we might have up our sleeves, but I can assure you, it will be a day you won’t want to miss.
I hope to see you on Monday, September 16th as we salute our nation’s beautiful flag and kick off one of PROJECT: VetRelief’s largest fundraising events in support of Florida’s veterans.
